🌟 Embrace Change; Break the Routine 🌟

Hey, it's Luz and I want to talk to you today about something that I think can really transform your life, and that's the value of trying something new and breaking out of your routine.


A lot of us can get really, really attached to those routines.


I know I do - wake up, eat, work, sleep, lather, rinse, repeat, and on and on and on.


But what happens when we break out of our routine, when we try something new?


Magic - we create new pathways in our brain.


We keep our perspective fresh, we gain increased curiosity, and appreciation for a world around us, for our community.


So my challenge to you today is: try something new.


So case in point, I wake up really, really slow.


Today was no exception, but I remembered today that one of my favorite yoga teachers, Reiner Perry was teaching at Hari NYC.


And so with about ten minutes to spare, I said, "I know I'm not awake yet, but let's do this."


And so I signed up for class.


And when I got to class, Reiner wasn't there.


He was being substituted by a different teacher, Colleen Martin, that I hadn't taken class with before.


She was great.


She taught an amazing class and at the end of class, she taught us a meditation, which was design to - guess what?


Break old patterns and create new beginnings.


So what will I do with all this new information?


All these new neural pathways that I created?


These new connections that I made with people?


I don't know.


All I know is that I feel energized, I feel inspired, and I have a fresh perspective.
