The Antidote to These Strange Times We Live In

I’ve fallen off the radar a little bit, haven’t I?

Maybe you have, too!

After years of promoting my work to free people’s voices on social media, I started hearing whispers (of my own) that it was time to take a pause.

I may have shared with some of you that I got hacked, not once but several times, on Facebook, and I gotta tell you, it was a discouraging experience!

Not to mention every time I went on social media, I noticed that these platforms have encouraged people to behave in ways that are absolutely awful.

What’s more, this lack of civility is spilling over into our real life interactions.

It’s heartbreaking.

So I started leaning more in my own life on what I teach - that music, especially singing, is a way to transform these feelings of disappointment, upset, and uncertainty.

In other words, less time scrolling, more time singing!

In addition, I had been doing all my teaching solo, and I longed for collaboration. Creating experiences for transformation, healing, beauty, and delight in partnership with others.

Lucky for me that I met screenwriter/producer Marine Assaiante and playwright/actress Tessie Herrasti. In my conversations with my fellow artists, we discovered that creativity is vitally necessary as a means to living a good life.

Recently we presented a webinar on LinkedIn called “Reclaim Your Power and Unleash Your Creativity.”

And here’s a highlight:

We had an amazing time putting it together, and we’re expanding on it November 17-21 in CREATRIX, a five day noon series to help you connect with your creativity for a fuller, richer, more authentic and productive life. Join us for one day or all five days for $30! Sign up here:

As my co-presenter Marine says, creativity isn’t something only a few are born with; it’s a muscle and a habit you can cultivate!

I hope to see you then. Reach out with questions, comments and stories of your own radiant artistry. I love to hear from you!
